Alex Prindiville, Founder and Chief Designer of Prindiville, the London-based bespoke coachbuilder, took to the wheel of a Limited Edition Prindiville Lamborghini Murcielago supercar, hosting Dr Andreas Kaufmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Leica Camera AG, the German manufacturer of photographic and optics equipment, during a demonstration drive around some of Mayfair’s most iconic landmarks.
The collaboration between Prindiville and Leica, two luxury marques renowned in their respective fields for high performance technology and innovation, was the pinnacle of the exclusive launch of the new flagship Leica Mayfair premises on London’s Bruton Place. The invitation-only event saw Dr Kaufmann experience first-hand the design and technological excellence of one of five individually-numbered Prindiville Lamborghini Murcielago supercars available worldwide.
This stunning model features world-first innovations designed by Prindiville for the Italian model, namely 360-degree door mirror cameras, and handle-less doors with remote opening. The exterior also boasts numerous signature lightweight carbon-fibre styling upgrades, visible on the side skirts, rear engine compartment lid and roof incorporating a revised air-flow system. This is complemented by an ECU performance enhancement for the 6.2-litre V12 powerplant, as well as an in-house Prindiville British-designed and manufactured stainless steel sports exhaust system, which is also a central feature on their Limited Edition Lamborghini Aventador currently on sale.
The cabin welcomes occupants with a bespoke red and black re-trim, a centre console manufactured from high-grade precision milled aluminium, in addition to a 1000-watt in-car surround sound system and infotainment package.
Alex Prindiville, Founder and Chief Designer of Prindiville, said: “It was a privilege to be play an integral part in the official inauguration of Leica Mayfair. We were delighted to showcase our expertise and precision engineering to the Chairman of one of the most well-regarded and iconic photography and optics brands in the world.
