Team Parker Racing British GT Championship

After running a single Bentley for much of 2016 Team Parker Racing returns with a two-car effort for the entire 2017 campaign.

The team will be eager to build on a successful first domestic season with the Continental GT3 after claiming four pole positions and victory at Oulton Park, which helped Rick Parfitt Jnr and Seb Morris to finish third in the final drivers’s standings. TPR finished in the same position in the teams’ standings – the best placed of the single-car entries.

Ian Loggie and Callum Macleod have already been confirmed aboard one of the Bentleys, with the second expected in due course.

Before making its GT3 debut in 2016 TPR previously campaigned Ginettas in the GT4 category under the Twisted Team Parker banner. Ade Barwick and Bradley Ellis won twice for the team in 2014.

The Long Haul To A Fast Buck – Spear’s Magazine

From his base in East London, Alex Prindiville deals in supercars and high-end classics. Whether they’re looking for an investment or a car to enjoy, the wealthy knock on the 42-year-old’s door. And if he doesn’t have their car in stock, he’ll track one down using his black book of global contacts. Business is booming, despite political turmoil. ‘The market is very buoyant, despite Brexit,’ says Prindiville. ‘Our business is global, so we’re lucky in that respect. If the London market is quiet, it’s still healthy in Hong Kong and Malaysia, for instance, while the UAE is always good. I also have a diverse mix of customers everyone from a builder who wants to buy an Aston Martin or a young City trader, all the way up to Formula One drivers, royals and pop stars. `The UK market is especially strong for what for what I call “ultra” supercars like the LaFerrari. Ferrari and other manufacturers have realised that if they build cars in limited numbers they become much more sought-after. Cars such as a Ferrari 458 Speciale were originally £220-250,000 now they’re trading at around £350,000.

Supercar season’ hits central London

Alex Prindiville he sells loud cars
It is known locally as “supercar season”, the period from July to August when some of the world’s richest descend on Kensington and Chelsea in London, with their extraordinary cars in tow. The spectacle has caught the attention of car fans and petrol-heads from London and beyond, which means that on a Saturday night in parts of the borough, the revving engines and cheering spectators can last well into the early hours. Now the council is considering introducing a “supercar ASBO” to try to curb the disruption.
Robert Timothy reports from Sloane Street in the heart of Knightsbridge.
